    Bob,

I am not sure having more ont he left and right would improve the image - but I do find myself wondering.

As presented I like the framing and the FG arcing of the tidal pools.

Overall the image appear unsharp to me and I find the shadows distracting.

In the repost I used PS Shadow/Highlight correction to open unp the shadows as well as taming highlights somewhat (not too much as that makes them look dirty). I then sharpened it.

Nice to see a landcape there Bob! I like the FG so maybe tweaking more there in the direction Robert took it? I have debated less sky to further emphasize the FG but not 100% on that one.

mmhmm...many options here Bob...I love the colours and quite prefer the "softer" look of the OP to Robert's repost (can't remember how long ago I did not prefer a Robert Repost ) but I think here it's all about taste.
dust bunnies mentioned and the OP composition works for me as well, though I tend to stay away from square-ish crops myself.

Hi Bob, agree with the above comments...well seen! Love the colors in the sky and the curve in the foreground sand too.

I like the re-post by Robert better myself. I brings out the various tones, greens in the water pool etc. A plus to me is the circular composition, the tidal pool, it added some more interest. Well done Bob.
