I had taken some HDR images of the Historical Museum and didn't like the way any of them came out. So I took the one image with the correct exposure, used Nik Tonal Contrast first, then converted to B&W using Nik Silver Efex, did some toning and a vignette, brushed back in the sign and finished with Topaz Adjust 5, Soft Focus.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Very nicely done, Cheryl. I like the use of the tree and Spanish moss for framing. The soft focus is appropriate with the nostalgic look, and it's particularly effective with the Spanish moss. Your Silver Efex toning works very, very well in this image. I'd have been inclined to get rid of the small white sign on the left and the plant in the lower right corner, but no big deal. It's great the way it is.

Dennis, thanks for your comment. I agree on both little problems - easy to fix

This is such a great image of "the real Florida." I love the moss and vines on the old oak. Beautiful, Cheryl.

Cheryl, I like the way the moss frames the sign very much. Nice conversion looks like a touch of sepia in there. The repost is great!

I love the framing with the mossy branches and the toning! The colored sign and soft focus works well for the nostalgic look.
