    This is superb,Chris !
I like the downstroke wing position, showing a splash of red/orange,the perfect HA and the stunning bg. Nice sharpness where it counts.Would have wished for a higher DOF to get the wing in focus as well. Great !

The thumbnail caught my eye, and the real image doesn't disappoint! Great flight shot of a challenging subject. Love the orange of the wings and the iridescence too. BG looks good. I do find the head to be slightly oversharpened, but otherwise an excellent image!

I really like the BG and the slight head turn. The BG is lovely. What is it? Nice and sharp,

Beautiful downward wingstroke!! I'm OK with the DOF...you would have lost valuable SS had you reduced your aperture...

Colours look terrific, and very nice BG. I wouldn't mind the subject a smidge lower in the frame, and there is a very subtle smudge above the head (about halfway to the edge) that needs to be cleaned up.

I clicked on this because the thumbnail jumped off the page at me, and I am glad I did. An excellent flight shot - great position on the wings and HA is spot on. At first I thought it might be a tad over-sharpened, but I am backing away from that thought. The only thing I find a bit distracting is the razor-sharp toe stick out beyond the OOF wing. Would folks feel that this would be a misrepresentation to clone the toe out (or purhaps blur it a bit)?

Hi Chris, these guys certainly have colourful wings, and I like the flight angle and wing position in this. Is that a Mankwe BG?
