    I just love this morning light glow and the way the movement of the tail feathers compliment the lines in the sand bar

    Gorgeous glowing light, indeed, Cheryl. Have you tried opening the shadows up at all on the right side of the gull? I might also crop a little from the right side and from below. Really nice image.

    Very nice Cheryl and something a little different. I like the nice curved lines as you have mentioned. Gull looks like it could stand a bit of selective sharpening. Good for you to see the shot.

    A very nice feeling to this, with the sweep of the gull's pose, and lovely light. I'll second Melissa's good comments above re shadows and crop.

    The pose in the photo is unique and very cool.
