    Here's another Sandhill image from the Bosque. I like the wing position better on this one than the first one I posted.

    Canon 7D
    Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L
    1/500 sec f/7.1 ISO 800

    Removed some small weeds and sharpened/levels in CS5
    NR on BG in Noiseware Pro.

    This is a real nice shot and love the habitat, just beautiful. Might work the eye/head some maybe lighter and sharper. But this picture is about more than the eye, it has a good feel and shows this fantastic creature in a natural setting. Was it a bit underexposed, I assume the 800 ISO is due to low light - maybe a tad lighted.

    Thanks, Jeff. It was pretty dark, but not badly underexposed. I'll go back and lighten it a bit.

    Good sharpness on the near wing. I'd selectively sharpen the head a bit and I'd also brighten things up some.
