    Default Small Cascade

A small woodland cascade in Hamilton, Ontario's Spencer Gorge Wilderness Area with my "waterfall setting" in Topaz B&W Effects applied on a background layer with opacity slightly reduced.

    Look forward to comments.

Nice composition, Andrew. The effect of both your camera settings and processing on the water is so interesting it makes me wonder how a closer view of the cascade would look.

I like the composition, Andrew. And you made a nice choice with the Topaz filter. It, in combination with your shutter speed, adds significantly to the interest of the image. I also like the way the filter emphasizes the horizontal layers in the rock behind vertical lines formed by the silky water.

This is beautiful, Andrew! The comp, rock detail and water flow are very well handled. Especially like the overall effect of the ambient lighting. Well done!

Great rock textures contrasted with the soft water flow.

Nice details and effect. I like the way the water seems to be like icicles!
