    Hi All
I took this a couple weeks ago when the local toms are in full display. It was taken in the early morning just as the sun found the bird. I have adjusted the levels, sharpened and reduced the red saturation with PSElements.
Comments and suggestions much appreciated. Thanks for looking.
    Thanks

    Hi Gail

Sharpness, colour and detail here are very good. Especially the detail on the head-neck hairs. Nice catchlight and composition with the birds head looking at an angle. Background looks very noisy and I suggest you de-tweak some levels/curves maybe. The background would be nice but the amount of external editing makes it look artificial on my monitor.

Hi Gail Always a treat finding one of these Toms !!!!

My main suggestion is having a good sun angle to minimize the shadows on the bird Light seems to be more from the left creating the head shadow

Crop wise would have placed the bird more to the right of the frame Don't much like the central location for this type position Exposure looks good and the image is sharp Do wish you had posted the compensation info !!! I like it a lot !!!

    Hi Gail,
Love your turkey, the colors are very nice, and the sharpness is tack on. Agree with Al about moving the bird to the right with a little cropping...:D
