A typical scene from the dry riverbeds of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
I just love those red sand dunes peeking through the grasslands.

    Techs:
    Nikon D7000 with Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 VR-II @ 92mm
    f8.0 @ 1/200 SS @ ISO-100

Loving the colour here Morkel and reminds me very much of parts of our own desert outback.

Morkel- nice scene and colors. The sky and clouds look great.

I like the use of layering (in this case different layers of color and texture) to add depth to the image. I also like the look of thee clouds - almost look like brush strokes. I am not sure if this is an optical illusion or the result of 1/200 sec. SS and fast moving clouds.

I would have preferred to seen more edge distance on the right for the green bush.

I like the processing Morkel, I would crop some off the top, the FG is the most interesting to me.

Robert, I cropped so tight on the RHS to remove another "chopped off" tree in the BRC .

Andrew - thanks for the repost...perhaps a bit too much. I did punch sats a little but obviously not enough, perhaps somewhere between the 2?
