    Default Red-Breasted Nuthatch

We get a lot of White-Breasted Nuthatches here but too few Red-Breasted. So, this was treat for me when this one showed up in my backyard.

Very nice pose and angle, Paul. The light looks a bit harsh and the bird is a bit tight in the frame for my taste. You could have used fill flash to avoid strong contrasts or use S/H in postprocessing to get more details in the shadows. I would also tone down the whites a bit.

    Hi Paul,

Lovely image with a nice bg and pose. Not too tight for me, but the light is bit harsh, maybe tone it down just a bit.
