Looks like a scene from an old Western movie...where's Wyatt Earp?
What was to the left and right of the frame? Can't help but wonder how it will look with a tad more space?

Dan - reminds me of your Taos image. They might look good hung next to each other. I too am curious what was to the left and right or why you shot this tight.

    Rachel and Morkel,
Cerrillos is a real town where people live although it has a ghost town feel.
To the left and right were parked cars (not old cars) which to me, just would ruin the feel of the image and town.
Although they are there, so perhaps the juxtification might have worked, I just didn't like the image with them in it.

    Dan,

I can't help but think that standing parallel to the storefronts might have produced a more lively image. I can't really find a center of interest in this image. I find my eye wandering around but not stopping and looking. My feeling this is one of those scenes were, at least for me, it is better to move in and concentrate on the details.

    Good observations by Robert.

Perhaps the juxtaposition would have worked better than you anticipated

mmm I am also partial to square on images of old buildings to use the lines and shapes more effectively !

Hi Dan, agree with above comments and suggestions. It sure does look like a scene from an old western movie.
