    One of the 3 cheetahs , I saw together . They had just rested after a very heavy meal ( a wildebeest) and was going through his strecthing motions when I got this moment . This is 60% of the frame .

    Camera : Canon 1D MK III
    Lens : 600mm f4 IS
    Aperture : f 8
    Shutters : 1/320
    Speed : ISO 1600
    Compensation : + 1/3rd EV

    Hi Rakesh, I would have been tempted to have perhaps gone to 5.6 or even 4 to give yourself more SS to reduce movement. Something like this at, f/4 can work really well. You could try a little more selective sharpening on the head just to see if that helps.

    I agree with Steve here. I like the curious expression captured. Perhaps warm up the WB a bit...just a little?
    Pity about the bush in the front - any way to move around it?

    Looks like an old one, maybe that helps with why the canine is missing...Like the suggestions above!

    Rakesh,

    You clearly have a problem with facial movement, you really needed a faster shutter speed. Given that you were allready on ISO 1600 your only option would have been to open up all the way, the only thing that needs to be sharp here is the head and that should have been perfectly sharp at F4, I presume you were hand-holding?

    I would warm this up a touch and try a round of selective sharpening on the head.

    Agree with the aperture setting/sharpness issue, love that yawning stretch they make.
    However she came to loose that canine, it certainly would have been most painful, ....ouch!
