    Default Red-Breasted Sapsucker

This is an older image, photographed in May of 2007 that I re-worked.
Sort of fun to have some color to work with, even though I feel the highlights are a teency bit hot.! I am getting tired of our dull, dreary, rainy days. :(

    HI Bonnie,

I like the compositing. I'm not sure why the branch is not in focus. Is this a heavy crop?

Hi Maxis, No--this is very nearly full frame--so I don't know?

Nice image Bonnie, I tired of the endless sunshine and wind. How about we trade for a few weeks.

Beautiful bird and well-captured. I like the light and pose. Maybe a bit more sharpening.

Very nice image Bonnie. Love the deep reds with the green BG.
