    Default Swallows over a rhino

Last day of 3 in the wonderful game park at Lake Nakuru in Kenya. This was a very beautiful morning, with blue light enhanced between the lake and sky. Rhinos are plentiful in this small park and they also successfully breed.

Love the framing here Gregor, perhaps just opening up the exp a tad, with a little more USM on the rhino.
Like how you've managed one of the swallows to resemble a flying fish!

    Very interesting shot, Gregor...I like!

Like Marc, I am wondering if perhaps it could do with a bit of lightening? And the rhino with a hint of sharpening as presented?

Agree with the above comments. I do like the composition and feel to this one, and Marc is right - that does look like a flying fish.

Hi Gregor, certainly an interesting image.

Good suggestions above, but if you have the 'image area' I would try moving the whole crop to the left, about half the space you already have on the RHS. This would mean the space would be better balance I feel, but still retaining all the key elements within the image.

    Gregor,

A very interesting composition, I agree with everybody else regarding lightening it a little, but not too much as it may destroy the mood

I really like this...Great feel and lovely mood. I would only add more space at the bottom!

Thank you for good comments and critique. As always you are right, the picture looks better just brighten a tad and maybe a little sharpening. Most of all I like your kind comments about the fish

I like it a lot. I would take a bit off the top.
The exposure doesn't bother me at all.
I like the light and the feel of it.
    Very well done.
