    Hello all

Not sure this image is good enough for this forum but I decided to post anyway... I know there are lots wrong with this image, head angle, busy forground, hot beak etc but I do like the detail and colour in the shot and so I thought I might seek others thoughts anyway... So, fire away.

    Details:
money content - Canon 1D Mark 4 + 500 F4 IS, all perched precariously on top of a manfrotto 190 series (no money left...) without legs extended and me sitting in the swamp.
    speed - 1/250 sec
    F stop - F5
    ISO - 400
    No flash

DOF looks good to throw the surroundings OOF, the bush on the lefts edges are a tad bright (maybe tone them down) Detail and sharpness look good. The HA unfortunately doesn't work it shoud be at least parallel to the sensor or even angled toward you.

Really like the detail in the bird. But I agree with Dumay that I'd tone down the bright green plants and wish for a better head angle.
