Northern Shoveler in flight

Here's another Northern Shoveler hen.
I wish I had a location around here with nice backgrounds.

Although the bg here is just water, the light was simply spectacular in the afternoon yesterday.
I selectively saturated the water a bit to accentuate the bit of color in it from reflections.

Hi Sid, if you are complaining about this BG, I would hate to see your images with a good BG. This is tack sharp, and you have nailed a great flying posture. Well placed in the frame, and of course that BG is simply superb. Congrats on a fine image.
