Hi Gus
Like the work on the 2nd image, really perks up the image, I like how the hummingbird is facing the moon, I might work a bit at refining the edges of the hummingbird..well done

I like the second version better, Gus, for at least two reasons. And they both have to do with the frame. Even though you didn't move the moon or hummingbird, they both bear a much different relationship to the edges of the space in which we see them. Somehow, that seems to make both of them less centered, and I like that better in terms of composition. The other thing is that the top of the moon is now out of the main image area and over the untextured part of the frame. I've always liked images that extend beyond their expected boundaries. I'd like it even more if the overlap weren't lightened, but it was quite a while before I even noticed that.

Very nice variations on a theme, Gus! Great framing and positioning of the elements. I might clone the bit of green above and slightly behind the head if it were mine. Love those hummers of yours!

Gus, Another vote for the third one. Steve has eagle eyes. I like the added texture -it seems more OOTB!

Hi Folks;
Thank you for all your comments, sorta surprised that the third one was the majority choice. My eyes must be really bad
as I do see a bit of a faint smudge above the head but not a green. As WC Fields said, "Youth is wonderful, too bad it is
wasted on the young."
It's always a pleasure to visit OOTB.
Keep smiling
Gus

Hi Gus, I also vote for the third post. Beautiful work!

I rather favor the second one...it's not quite as complicated as #3 and I like that about it. As soon as I opened the image I started to hear, "Fly me to the moon..." playing in my head.
