    Excellent detail, cool wing position, and a nice BG. I like the slightly open beak too. A slight head turn towards us would have been perfection, but a very nice frame as presented!

    Striking image, Alan. Love the down wing pose and open beak.
    The greenish terrestial background makes it pop.

    Superb shot allround , Alan.
    For me the most striking feature is the wing position, especially the primaries , and the excellent detail and sharpness.
