This juvenile was captured just about a year ago, with bird and trees beyond catching the last rays of the sun. Does the tree color overwhelm the bird? Thought about de-saturating the bg, but left it as the camera saw it. Almost FF - took 5% off left side for comp.

I'm not used to seeing gulls against a BG of fall foliage, so that's pretty cool. The bird is placed a little too high in the frame for me; I'm guessing that you ran out of tree.
Thanks, guys, for the comments. Yes, I would have liked just a slivver more room on top and right, but this is almost full-frame; only slight cropping was done on left and bottom. I'll track him better next time - I think he was starting to get ahead of me.
