From a couple of weeks ago. For the most part this species is very skittish up here, except for a few individuals that spend a few weeks at a certain local pond most years during the late fall. They get habituated by people and eventually allow closer approach than their cousins that spent their time in "wilder" areas.
Canon 7D + 100-400L @400mm, aperture priority, evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/6.3, ISO 800, +1.3 EC, natural light, handheld, ~70% FF. Cloned out a goose butt at top edge, and patched out a few blown and distracting water drop highlights on the head and base of the bill.

Reason: corrected the exif
Always a plus to get a wing flap and good eye contact. I like all the water droplets and dripping water. Your shutter speed gave you nice wing blur and the bird obliged by keeping its head still for you.
Daniel, green winged teals are not easy with short lens...but you are a master at that sorta thing. they are so small and skittish. wing flaps are even harder....well done. terrific details and bird angle.
