Due to my very busy Godwit fieldwork program I am unable to comment a lot, hope to remedy that soon....This is another one from Norway where Jasper, Marco de Pauw and I had the pleasure to photograph these beautiful and with time intimidating animals up close. They can also be incredibly sweet to each other from time to time. This was one such moment.

    C&C always welcome,

Nice eye-to-eye capture with fine detail, BG, and colors. The bright spot at the top of the BG tree occasionally draws my eye.

You're right. This is a sweet shot. Beautifully executed.

I would only tone down the bright OOF tree. Very intimate moment captured of a misunderstood animal (not by us, but the public in general).

One I would be real proud to call my own. Right place at the right time executed perfectly. I also would try to do something about the birch (?) tree in the background.

You mushed the shutter button at just the right instant! Congrats on the capture. I like the composition & action. Exposure looks good for the most part, but toning down the white spots on the birch as mentioned would enhance the image...
