It always amazes me what these guys can swallow

Good head and tail angle! The light angle however, was working against you. I would have still taken the picture too. Fill flash would have helped.
If you haven't already, I would try to bring up the shadowed areas a bit.

You could also clone out some of the light gray areas along the upper edge as well.

Very nice shot, I don't mind the background it looks natural to me. Maybe reduce the highlight just a tad on the forewing.
