    Default Snowy Morning at Bryce

My last landscape tour of this year was just a few weeks ago to Zion and Bryce. I got plenty of night opportunities in Zion as the weather was warm and clear. As we headed to Bryce.....the weather changed and for me.....a chance that I have always missed by a day or so the many times I have been there before. The forecast the night before was for 7 inches of snow....which may have hidden the color of Bryce.....we were lucky and got only an inch!!! Even though it was windy and cold....I was thrilled at this opportunity! By the afternoon.....the snow was gone.
Canon 1D Mark 3 with the 17-40mm lens at 22m at f/22 for 0.4 sec. and ISO 100. Reverse GND filter, tripod mounted 56 quality to fit.

What a gorgeous scene you have captured--glowing hoodoos and snow, what a perfect combination. Great DOF and composition. Very well done.

Bryce with a bit of snow - I love it. I have similar but alas all on slide. :(

Roman, very nice shot, love the dusting of snow and the light on the scene. We had about 2 inches of snow last Friday, but has since melted and weather is warming up again. Very slow start to winter up here.

Beautiful, vast canyon scene, Roman, love the light, color, depth, and the dusting of snow is a nice touch. Excellent work!

Great shot, missed snow by one day last year. Snow really makes the image.

Roman - Congrats on realizing your snowy image. This is absolutely beautiful with incredible light and colors. The snow takes it to a whole other level.

    Hi Roman.

It looks like everything came together for you on this one. The light, the snow, the subject and the composition all contribute to one beautiful image. Masterfully done.

One of my favourites of yours of late, Roman! Love everything about it...

(perhaps another hint of contrast to spice things up?? )
