    Shot this in harsh light missed out to change the settings should have moved up to f11 and reduced the ISO to 400 .

    Shutter speed 1/4000
    Aperture F/4.5
    ISO 640
    Lens 600mm IS Canon
    Camera body 1D Mark II N
    HAND HELD

    Lovely walking pose you got here , Ram . The light does look a bit harsh . What with the name of the bird ?? Is'nt that a 'lapwing' instead of a 'wagtail' ???

    Thanks rakesh i had the wag tail in my mind when uploaded this as i had just uploaded a image in another site of a wagtail

    Nice bird and walking pose. I like the grassy habitat, but could have done without the mud clump and you could eliminate the longer grass blade in the BG. Great head angle
