Default Compact flash card for Canon 1D-Mark IV

The fastest, biggest CF card I have is a SanDisk Extreme 16 gb, 60MB/s UDMA
I was looking at buying another CF card (perhaps a 32 GB).

I only shoot RAW and rarely ever shoot more than a burst of 3-4 shots.
That said, I do want to do more BIF and may also be interested in trying the video feature of the camera.
So, while I am at it, I want to get a card that is fast enough for the 1D-Mark IV.

    Any recommendations?

Also, the camera has a second slot for an SD card that I've never used.
Any SD card recommendations for this backup are also welcomed.

    Thanks!

Hi Sidharth, all you need is:

Sandisk 16GB Extreme Compact Flash Card 90MBS

SanDisk Extreme Pro 16GB SDHC Card (will check, think it is this one, if not will PM)

These cards got hammered with the MKIV, the CF card takes about 650+ RAW, enough for a mornings shoot, but I did one morning over run to the SDHC card. Remember to set the function to Auto swop. What I did find was to shoot on the CF and then swop to the SDHC for video. No buffer issues at the highest rate and the download speed is really good.

    cheers

    Thanks Steve.

I did order a SanDisk Extreme Pro 32 GB (90 MB/s) and the SDHC you recommended.

I did find faster cards out there such as the hoodman cards for e.g. which are over twice the price of a Sandisk

I typically only shoot RAW (not RAW + JPEG) and am pretty trigger shy. My back of the envelope calculations show that the Sandisk Extreme Pros are plenty fast for my use.
