What a trip I have just returned from. 3 months in spectacular Peru - one of the birdiest countries in the whole world (2nd only to Columbia). I have loads of images to share of rare species, hard to find endemics and of course hummingbirds. But I wanted to start with a fun one that I hope will make you smile :)
All the best!

That is one crazy looking bird. He really needs an ophthalmologist to straighten out those eyes! Perch provides interesting leading lines. The flash has left it quite bright though, and I would consider burning in the perch to reduce its luminosity. I might even consider a luminosity blend layer with multiply layer to tone down the highlights of the bird a bit.
Great to see an unusual bird. Look forward to more.
Muppet indeed! That's one crazy creature Glenn. Fantastic. Don't disagree with the idea of toning down branch luminosity. I have only seen Potoos with their eyes closed!
