    Default Fracted Gull!

I started with a blur of a Glaucous-winged Gull from Homer. This was taken at 1/8 sec just as the gull was flapping its wing while landing in water. Applied Fractalius on a separate layer to bring out the white edges on dark water bg and then reduced opacity. Applied adjustment layer for selective colors and saturation. Hope you like it...

I love it Indranil! Beautiful angel wings and sharp face. The dangling feet and the swipes in the water make this special.

Great mood here Indranil! I'm debating if I would like the water swirls a touch brighter......might want to try it for yourself for comparison. Nicely done overall!

One of your best blurs to date, Indranil....like others, what struck me was the almost angelic quality...and, like Roman, I think it might be interesting to bring out the water swirls just a bit. Well composed....great lighting...just the right balance between blur and detail....good job on this one!
