A Bosque Apache sunset (Cranes in the distance).
Basically out of camera, the blues are real in the clear cold New Mexico air.

Very nice; I would give up some sky to move the horizon line to the 1/3 position - I think it will make a stronger image.
Cheers, Jay

"Nature Interpreted" - Photography begins with your mind and eyes, and ends with an image representing your vision and your reality of the captured scene; photography exceeds the camera sensor's limitations. Capturing and Processing landscapes and seascapes allows me to express my vision and reality of Nature.
I was thinking to give up some foreground, cropping to where the lines of reeds finish. I think the messier foreground adds nothing whereas the sky has a clean fresh look to it. There you are, some choices!![]()
Hi Dan - nice deep colors. My thoughts echo Hilary's, some off the bottom will strengthen this fine image.

Rachel
Hi Dan
My first thought was to agree with Jay, but then I looked at Hilarys suggestion and that would work too, so maybe you could do both and make it a pano...!!
Love the colours
Don
I agree with Hilary's suggestion. Also the tree onthe right is too close to the edge. Transition of color is good and pleasing to view.
I think both crop version will work and don't forget Robert's suggestion on the RH tree.
Hi Dan, I like Rachel's crop suggestion best... that was my initial thought when first viewing the image. Love the blue sky and the orange colors too!
awesome colours and exposure control here. crop suggestion was my first thought also but still awesome colours![]()
Hi Dan,
I like the colours you obtained in your image. I agree with Jay about the crop and also feel the image will be stronger for it.
Well done and thanks for sharing,
Mark.
