Arash...a fine image. loved the Bg and the details. I 've never seen oystercatchers...but wondering if the whites should be a little more bright?

Sharp with a killer pose as usual. I like the mangrove BKGR. I am wondering about the WHITEs as KD is. In some spots they do not look very white at all in other spots (just below the black hood) they look too bright.

    Thanks guys,
@Arite and Kaustubh, this image was made at sunrise and that's where the warm tones are coming from, I personally prefer not to color correct the image in absolute colorimetric terms to keep it faithful to the original scene at the time of capture but if you prefer whites be set as pure white here is a repost:

Lovely banking pose, nice contrasting dark bg and a great NR job. Shallow DOF works so well here. Excellent image Arash.

Sweet, sweet light Arash, and you have nailed the banking angle. Good job with the exposure on the head and bill.

Thanks Arash. I'd got for the repost while keeping both in the files to give an editor the choice.

Arash I like the re-post as you still preserved the warmer tones and the bird appears crisper to me relative to the colors.
