Synchronised Skimmers

Canon 1Dmk4, Canon 300 f2.8 IS, handheld from moving boat. S/s 1/2500s at f/5.6. Iso640. Location Chobe River, Botswana. A pair of juvenile African skimmers photographed as they practiced their skimming and flying techniques in the early morning. I removed a few dark blotches of floating debris from the water. Cropped and processed in ACR and CS5.

I'm glad you included the reflection here. The double pose takes this from plain jane to fairly interesting. It's not easy getting two birds sharp in the frame both with decent poses. nice job.
