    Default the Claw of the Owl

    Lately I spend some time in photographing Long-eared Owls, this was the shot that I was hoping to make, yee.

    Really nice pose the angle is a little steep but I can live with that and I like the OOF leaves in the BG. I would open up the shadows to even out the tonalities in the image especially on the face as I did here

    Nice image Lesley! i like the raised claw, expression, wet feathers and setting. Dons repost makes this image even better. I look forward to seeing more images and hopefully the owl stays around for a while. Well done!

    Lesley, what a cool looking owl and great pose & expression you captured. I kind of like the looking up angle. Don's repost makes it even stronger. Love those orange eyes and the big claw held out - looks like it is trying to cast a spell on you!...or it wants to claw your eye out, ...or maybe it's just waving hello!
