Well I might feel obliged to say I liked it even better even if I didn't, but fortunately I don't have to face that moral dilemma as I do like it even better. Yes, it is a bit tight but I can definitely live with that. I'm tempted to say try it a bit darker just for something to say, but the truth is I really like the colours as they are. The green is beautiful. Great shot and even the tail is just where you'd want it.

Nice action shot Ken, like the focused eyes and splashes.

Very sharp. Like the position of the legs and the drops of water around the legs. Like the grass behind the subject as well.

Love the sense of movement here. Like seeing the teeth, the splash, the raised tail with 3 legs off the ground. Would have liked a tad more room on top but works as is.

Slightly tight at the top for me, Ken, but I like this frame better than the other one. Nice execution, hand-held !

It's a tad tight at the top as mentioned, but I know how tough it is getting shots like this "in the frame" at close range, and frankly it doesn't really bother me or draw my attention from the dynamic action and the effect of the slight motion blur on the front paws.

I would play around with taking down the brightest tones a tad, just to add more pop and contrast.

    Wish it was mine...

Ken - agree with your self-critique but still a wonderful image, captured well.

A touch tight but all his parts are there. Nice colors and pose and I like the water's placement in the frame.
