    Default Saw-whet owl

My first time to see a saw-whet in the wild. They are quite small and look deceptively large in photos. :) I believe this one might have been taken using Liveview with the camera at arm's length. Had to shoot fairly tight as there were numerous branches in the way otherwise.

Very nice bird and welcome to BPN!!!!

I wish it was not so tight, but you had good reasons for it.
    Good exposure and sharpness.

    Looking forward to more :)

Welcome to BPN! Very nice first post and great find! I would give it a bit more room if it is not full frame. Keep them coming!

Thanks all for the comments. I hadn't thought of cloning the branch by his ear, might give a try. It may end up being too complicated to fix.
