    Default Kachemak Bay Blur

As we were leaving the bay I took several blurs from the side of the moving boat. I liked the way the mountains with the snow looked to be swirling into the sky. The cool blue tones reminded me of the day.

Nicely done, Denise. Great blur. I like the blue tones. The successively lighter tones in the more distant features make the effect even better. Something about that has always been visually exciting to me.

It probably wasn't until I read what you said about the snow on the mountains that I realized it wasn't part of the clouds. The way that looks adds a dynamic element to an otherwise serene image.

Really COOL blue blur, Denise. Brrrrr Very intriguing line/separation elements in the water and mountains. The swirl of clouds and snow adds to the energy.

Denise, I love this one!! The view from the rooms were spectacular and I am glad you actually tried some blur on the water with those mountains in the backdrop. Wonderful light and colors.

Denise, I lived in Alaska for 3 years as a I child...even had I not known where this was taken, it would have evoked memories of my time spent there. That damp cold..the sense of space...the blue tone that over ride so much of the landscape on a cloudy day...Alaska. Nicely done!
