Very nice BG and cool bird...I would like to see a touch more space left and less on the bottom...Very nice colors

Sharp with good detail. Light looks a bit harsh but you've handled the exposure well.

Chaffinches have now appeared on my garden feeders, so able to enjoy them again!

Lovely sharp image; those white patches are tricky aren't they, but you seem to have held them well.

Presume this was from the Spring?

Very sharp and a very attractive bird.
A bit looser crop would look nice also.

Super pose Jon, and this fellow certainly has an array of colours to look at. You have brought out good detail and the sharpness is spot on. I like the darker BG, and agree with a little more space on the left.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The perch was very messy on the left and I already did some cloning, I did originally try with a little more space on the left but it was proving troublesome to correct. The shot was taken April 22 2010.
