Congratulations Luis on a beautiful Avian IOTW!!
Here is a Red-throated Loon I photographed just outside Nome, AK.
This bird is super skittish so I had to approach it very very slowly using a throw over blind.
At times I thought it was going to fly away but fortunately it stayed. I wish the water wasn't so choppy,
but we had wind almost all the time we stayed in Nome...
A very well done image on several accounts. 1) The red eye is brilliantly toned, sharp. 2) Very detailed breast tones and disernable lines in the feathers. 3) Suped head turn. 4) Love the gray head, it even has subtle shades, near the bill. Good work all the way around.
