This is female Oriental honey buzzard. found her resting on the road which was quite lucky. The brown BG added well here.

    Spec: 1/500, F 5.6, ISO 800, -1/3

    Mk4+500mm+1.4TC

    Regards,

    Kiran.

Bhai, how do you manage to get such a low perspective without spooking the bird. Brilliant detail and sharpness, and the BG certainly makes this girl pop nicely. Very similar to our snake eagle.

Excellent shot. Great pose and agree that the background really makes the bird pop. Real nice detail and love that it has one of its talons curled up like a nuckle.
    Well done.

This is a killer low angle image. Love the color and detail. The closed claw is great.

Mind blowing IQ. Love how the bird pops against the gorgeous color of "mere desh ki dhartee :)"

Awesome looking bird, Kiran, and excellent capture and composition. Love the feathers sticking up on the head, and real nice rich, complimentary color for BG. Well done!

Kiran, good to see the long neck of this species and the pigeon face...they are so different. low angle, BG and details are great. high IQ as usual. A tad space on top, if it were mine.

As usual, the IQ of this image is superb. The BG takes this already great image to another level. I also like the talons- looks like he has his "fingers" curled under and is tapping his (index ) finger. The linear catchlight in the eye is a bit odd. Why is it like that?
    Wish this was mine,
    Gail

The low angle, incredible BG, nice light, and excellent sharpness combine to produce one fine image Kiran! Like the contrasting positions of the talons too.
