    Default Red Billed Hornbill (Tockus erythrorhynchus)

    Got this Red Billed Hornbill at Mosi-Oa-Tuniya, Livingstone, Zambia.
    A relatively small species of hornbill found in savanna and woodland of sub-Saharan Africa.

    Camera: Canon EOS 50D
    Lens: Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L
    Shutter: 1/640s
    Aperture: f/8
    ISO: 400

    Prabir:

    A new one for me, always fun. Good look back pose, well exposed. The eye and esp. the back of the head look a bit soft. In looking at the branches that seem to be sharp, I suspect a bit of motion blur as cause.

    Although the perch is busy, you got the bird in a relatively clean spot.

    Neat bird, and like Randy although the perch is busy it works for me. Bill looks sharp enough, but the rest of the face looks soft. I also wouldn't mind a bit more room above. Thaks for sharing, and looking forward to more...
