A relatively small species of hornbill found in savanna and woodland of sub-Saharan Africa.

A new one for me, always fun. Good look back pose, well exposed. The eye and esp. the back of the head look a bit soft. In looking at the branches that seem to be sharp, I suspect a bit of motion blur as cause.
Although the perch is busy, you got the bird in a relatively clean spot.
Neat bird, and like Randy although the perch is busy it works for me. Bill looks sharp enough, but the rest of the face looks soft. I also wouldn't mind a bit more room above. Thaks for sharing, and looking forward to more...
