    Captured this morning under a bright overcast sky ...

    EOS-7D, EF600/4L + EF1.4x
    Manual, ISO 400, 1/1600, f/7.1

    Nice to see you in here KK!
    The female looks nice and sharp but I am not sure about the oof male. Light wasn't helping either.

    Agreed not the ideal light but I have to make the best of it ...

    Nice to see you pay us a visit KK! I like how the upper mandible of the male follows the line of the female's neck. At least you've got bright overcast skies; at the Bosque they're dark and overcast!

    Neat synchrozided poses, and they look like speedy bullets! I too find it cool that the male's bill follows the female's necj\k curve but having said that I still would have preferred more separation between the two. Maybe a tad dark overall in the midtones and blacks. I'm OK with the softer male due to DOF.
