    Default My Wife !!!

Mrs. Brown gives us all a lesson in hand holding a 500, and looking good while doing it. You make me proud K!!! Taken at the Bosque this morning from a discrete distance (600mm + 1.4x).

    Doug:

Nice technique with that elbow in tight. Wonder who taught here that one? Say hello for me.

Nice shot! I head to Bosque on Tuesday :)

I'm noting that scarf and thinking that I better pack one :)

    Default Great Fun!!!

Thanks for the nice candid shot! I had a great weekend (despite the lousy light and low bird count)!

    Love,
    Kristin

A lesson indeed. Slightly curved torso, resting arm tucked into the body for maximum stability. Reminds me of those 10m air rifle shooters.

Mrs. Brown looks very comfortable hand holding the 500mm lens.

My shot was hand held. She does a pretty good job with the 500!

I shot with her for 10 minutes in absolutely crappy light and she nailed some shots I
could not even hope to and has the right atitude about it all. She seemed to just enjoy
    being out there.

Well done. I think she has a good teacher/mentor! I guess I had better begin some weight training.

You go, Kristin! I get men telling me all the time, "Don't you need a tripod with that lens?" and I just laugh and say, "Well, maybe YOU do..."
