Went up to the local mountains, it was mostly overcast, but had some fun experimenting with blurs by a small stream. I think I did this one without looking through the view finder! Full frame, with some CS5 adjustments.

A great array of color and texture. Making it vertical was a good way to go, but I'd have flipped it vertically so those diagonals on the left would be pointing up instead of down.

Hi Brendan, nice blur with great color too! I think I would present it as a horizontal though. The blue area looks like the river you mention.

Very nice, Brendan. Definitely a successful experimentation! Beautiful colors.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions, Dennis, Andrew, & Indranil. I think I'm going to play around with this and the other blurs I did some more.

Hey, Brendan, I love the colors. I think there are a lot of cropping possibilities including a crop from the bottom. I hope you post more of them

Brendan, I really like the flow and colors of this. The dark spot in the URC seems to stop the flow at the top for me, I might lighten that area just a bit if it were mine. I love the blues and the texture the blue area has.
