    Neat, Rosl, I wish you had placed him to the left of the frame and that there was more light on his face.

    He sure looks proud :)

    Wow, another bird pano. I am liking this trend so thanks for posting it Rosl. I would agree with Fabiola's suggestion on placement. I like how you created the image low to the ground and had the bird in the clear. Nice going there.

    Rosl,
    I tend to agree with the earlier postings: the framing would have been stronger with the bird in the left "third" of the image, instead of its current composition, and the lighting is a little harsh (the shadow on the bird's face). Fill flash might have helped, but waiting for the bird to turn its head so it was fully in sun would also have done the job. Cheers!

    Hi,
    I really like the posture of the bird - fits well with your title.

    Trying to get to know my European birds better - so looked this one up. It is an adult Black Redstart (Phoenicurus gibraltariensis), part of the Thrush family. Thus, the Robin-like posture, I guess.

    Now you know, whether you wanted to or not!
