Just a heads up for anyone waiting for "The Photographer's Ephemeris (TPE)" app to be available for Android. It looks like it was finally released and is in the Android market. I have not had a chance to play with it yet but reviews look good.
For those not familiar with this app, "The Photographer's Ephemeris helps you plan your outdoor shoot, with full details of how the sun and moon move across the land."
It allows you to determine not only when the sun and/or moon will rise/set but also precisely where on the horizon for pretty much any geographic location. Great for planning landscape photography.

I have been using this program on PC and now Android for several years. They have added a distance feature, that you can use to measure how far it is from point to point. Helps setting up when you are working from a fixed position.
