Not clear to me what the subject(s) is nor what is happening.

    Pierre,

I think the answer to Toms question is quite easy, the dogs are engaged in a bit of play or it could be the start of the "greeting ceremony".

The dog in the middle is a bit of a nuisance but otherwise I like it, perhaps a little lightening of the left active dogs face might assist.

When I was at Mana in September the light was very poor as the Zambian side was being regularly burnt.

Ken: The dog in the middle is the alpha female and she was on heat, that is why the 2 was "fighting"

    Pierre,

Thanks for the info, so this was a real fight, did you get any mating images?

Ken: Unfortunately not. Think she was a bit tired because +- an hour before they killed 2 impalas and these 2 males were just trying their luck.
Besides the fact of poor light, how did you find Mana. It was my 1st time and i love that place. Will go back anytime. Planning on a trip next year July again for +- 2-3 weeks

    Pierre,

It was very dry when we were there in September, so I think July is a good idea even if it is good deal colder. Mana is like the rest of Zimbabwe the best really wild places in Southern Africa, but it is not on a plate, you have to look which IMHO adds so much.

I am not sure what is happening, but the photo is superb.
    Nice color and exposure.

Pierre - Nice to see a pack of dogs (or at least part of it). Due to their natural camouflage it's sometimes difficult to distinguish body parts when they are involved in play and I think that is what Tom and Dan are referring to here. The intersection with the dog laying down in the middle hasn't helped but I think you captured the moment well.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Hi Pierre, nice interaction captured here, the colour and exposure are spot on and I like the touch of blood on the dogs which adds to the image. Look forward to seeing more from your trip. TFS

You certainly got around since we last met, Pierre!
Luangwa, Mana Pools, Botswana...where else? Must say I am green...

Super interaction and low angle here...

I think your questions were answered, Tom? Was pretty clear to me that the subjects are wild dogs and the "goings-on" was some sort of scuffle, which Pierre clarified...

Morkel - You are traveling much more than me :-) I went on a trip in July and it was awesome.
Pretty clear to me and also to a lot of people what is going on here in this image so that is why i wont even bother to say something to Tom's comment

Dan - Yes they are very active and fun to photograph but not always easy to find with a clear BG
