    Default Whachu lookin at?

Another Golden-crowned Kinglet from last Saturday, trying to pretend that he's bigger than his tiny self. Removed some oof branches; might have wished for a better perch, but he was flitting around so much that I took what I could get. C&C appreciated.

    Bill:

Quite the puffed up little fellow. Seems to have a serious attitude going on here.

    Well exposed.

There is a certain coarseness to the details on the face. How big of crop here?

    Cheers

Randy, this is a fairly large crop, about 46% of full frame.

Bummer of a perch as you noted :). Did you use flash; the eye looks funky and could definitely use some Eye Doctor work. You did a good job of getting one of these little speedsters in focus and in the frame!

Thanks Artie. I did not use flash. I considered cleaning up the eye, but left it as shot. I agree it could use some work.

Great shot. I like the pose, nice detail, and I agree about the eye. Other than great shot.
    Well done.
