    Nice light and good wing position. I like the slight rotation of the body that gives the tail feathers better visibility. The detail suffers a bit from motion blur due to the slow shutter speed. I know you were shooting wide open and your ISO was getting up there, but as a general rule I'd rather have noisy and sharp than less noisy and less sharp.

    Good flying posture Karl, and the late afternoon light has rendered lovely warm colours. Great detail on the eye and bill.
