    Just before 7 in the morning, with a piece of apple on the fence this guy came closer to investigate.

    Very nice! I like the tight crop and the light! The blurred wings and position are great, and the body and head seem very sharp. Was this on a tripod? Beautiful!

    You did well to capture this bird mid-hover. I do wish for more breathing room in the composition, and had the wings been fully open that would have been a really nice bonus. Sharp, and nice complementary BG.

    As noted, a bit of a tight crop, but the color, sharpness and pose are very nice.
    Keep them coming, I really enjoy seeing birds I don't get to see, captured so well.
