I photographed this bird near Magog Quebec in August. Can somebody help identify it?

    I'd bet on Eastern Phoebe.

But don't take it for granted. I have a very rough time identifying flycatchers and similar birds.

Looks like an Eastern Phoebe to me. It's dark especially on the head, has no eyering, doesn't have a particularly "vested" appearance to the chest, and I see no indication of wingbars though the angle isn't great for that. The two central tail feathers are old, worn, and generally beat to crap (ornithologically speaking). The other tail feathers look short, fresh as can be, and you can actually see that they are of differing lengths. This means the bird is in molt and the new tail feathers that are still growing in while the two central ones haven't been dropped yet.
