This little guy was giving the Chickadees "what for" every time they came near the perch. I guess it felt that all the seed in the hole(placed there by me ) was his to hog. Always fun to watch the inter -action at a feeder.

    Joe:

Great expression, sharp, nice colors in the background.

Might consider a slight crop from the top, add a sliver to left.

I might tone down the luminosity of the trunk just a bit.

    Cheers

Love the sharpness, open beak, and raised crest feathers. Good suggestions by Randy above. I might also reduce image contrast just a little.

Like the bird, the pose, and the BKGR. Could definitely use a chunk off the top for balance. Looks a tad over-sharpened to me; perhaps reducing the contrast might help with that.

Joe, loved the open bill. good job getting parallel...crucial here due to your aperture.

If mine, in the selection for sharpening, I'd exclude the lines in the wings. they do look jagged and oversharpened.

Great use of fill flash on this one Joe. That really made for superb detail on this guy. Interesting perch you caught him on as well. Nice singing pose also.
