    Default Black Skimmer

Late morning light (10:15 AM - end of November). Canon 1DsMII, 600mm f/4, ISO 200, f/4, 1/4000. POV was face down in the sand, handholding the 600mm. Sun at my back.

Great looking Skimmer image. My only suggestion would be less room at the top - crop where the blue starts. Left, right and bottom are right for me. Detail in the whites and blacks, nice tonal range and sharpness complete the package.

    Hi Bob,

This is a nice profile shot. I wish the water was flat. You did well with the exposure.

Bob, a fine image. I like Amoruso's idea of the crop. Good exposure and sharpness and yes, wish the water was still, but hey... :)

Love the color (although maybe a little over saturated). I suspect there is some catchlight in the full res file but here, the eye could use a little more snap.
