    Default THEME: Herring Gull

Most of the time I don't even look at the gulls buth this time there was a beautiful light and a bathing Herring Gull and I couldn't resist.
Besides the light on the Gull I especially like the waterdrops and the movement in the wings.

    Lesley:

I think this is a excellent capture, takes a common subject and by careful use of light, shutter speed, shows it well. Dark water with just the gull and a bit of its reflection illuminated, wing blur to suggest the action, all good.

    Well done.

    Cheers

I really like this shot Leslie! The wings almost look like flames! Excellent exposure, great sharpness in the head, and nice wing blur. A little tight in the frame, but otherwise awesome!
